Author Biography

Joan S. Gray is Moderator of the 217th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). She has been Parish Associate at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta since 2006, and before that served numerous churches in Georgia as interim pastor, pastor/head of staff, and associate pastor. She has long been active in the PC(USA) and has been an adjunct faculty member at Columbia Theological Seminary. She is the coauthor, with Joyce Tucker, of Presbyterian Polity for Church Officers.
