Klein D. Stanley Eitzen is Professor Emeritus of Sociology at Colorado State University and coauthor with George Sage of Sociology of North American Sport, 8th ed. (Paradigm 2009). Prominent for his scholarship on homelessness, poverty, inequality, power, and family, he is best known for his contributions to the sociology of sport. He was elected a Sports Ethics Fellow at the Institute for International Sport.
