Stanley Newman edits <i>Newsday</i>’s nationally-syndicated crossword, creates puzzles for <i>BusinessWeek</i> and is the coauthor of the bestselling <i>10,000 Answers: The Ultimate Trivia Encyclopedia</i>. He runs tournaments, hosts cruises, and lectures at the Smithsonian about both crosswords and trivia. He has written or edited more than 80 books.
