Author Biography

Alberto Boralevi, Michael Franses, Brian Morehouse, Penny Oakley and Asli Samadova are independent scholars in the field of carpets and textiles. Murray L. Eiland III is an archaeologist and textile researcher. Jennifer Wearden, Moya Carey, Sumru Belger Krody and Irina Koshoridze are all former or current museum textile curators in London (V&A), Washington DC (The Textile Museum) and Tbilisi.
