Summary

Set during the Cuban revolution of 1958, a mercenary soldier becomes disgusted by his own life of violence and heads back to Cincinnati, the place of his youth, to find peace for himself and a home to go to. Picking up the pieces of his early life, he finds family, the woman he loved, and surprises that set him on a new course for a possibly better future.

Author Biography

Author Richard Meibers lives in central Massachusetts, and is the author of The Fitchburg Watch. He is currently working on a sequel to Steal Away Home for release in Spring 2007.
