Author Biography

Dr. Deborah Woodman is an experienced historian who has taught history at the Universities of Huddersfield, Salford, and MMU, and has had several books and articles published on the role of drink in society; commerce and trade; and popular politics of the 19th century. She is currently Research Development Officer at the University of Salford.
