Author Biography

David Tossell has been a sports journalist for more than three decades and is the author of nine previous books on a range of sports. Formerly executive sports editor of the Today newspaper, he is currently head of European Public Affairs for the NFL (National Football League). Three of his books have been short-listed in the British Sports Book Awards: Bertie Mee (best biography), Grovel! (best cricket book) and Nobody Beats Us (best rugby book). Grovel! and Following On were finalists in the MCC/Cricket Society Book of the Year Award.
