Author Biography

Yarrow Cheney (art and story) is an award-winning animator and director who has worked on DESPICABLE ME., LORAX, THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS, and THE GRINCH. His fellow CalArts classmate and wife, Carrie Cheney (text and story), are based in California where they have a first-look development deal with Illumination Entertainment. Yarrow was the lead director of Illumination/Universal's THE GRINCH, and his earlier credits include co-directing THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS as well as production designing DESPICABLE ME, DESPICABLE ME 2, and Dr. Seuss' THE LORAX.
