Author Biography

Doug Lemov's highly influential books Teach Like a Champion and Teach Like a Champion 2.0 have transformed classrooms around the world with tangible classroom management techniques. Based on his study of classes taught by teachers with incredible results, he put everything he saw through the "Monday test." If he felt like it wasn't something you (or he) could do at 8:25AM on a Monday morning, it was out. Using these techniques, Doug trains educators as part of his work at Uncommon Schools, the nonprofit school management organization he helped found. He is also a coauthor of several other books such as Practice Perfect and Reading Reconsidered.
