About the Authors Erica Sadun, Ph.D. is a user interface expert, technology consultant and computer book author. She wrote the critically acclaimed and best-selling JavaScript Cookbook (Charles River Media). Dennis R. Cohen is now a freelance programmer, editor, and writer who has been developing software for over 20 years, starting with the Deep Space Network at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and continuing through Ashton-Tate, Claris, and Aladdin Systems. He started writing magazine articles and reviews in 1981, doing technical edits of books in 1986, and writing computer books in 1994. When he is not working, he can usually be found with his Boston terrier, Spenser.
