Author Biography

Janice Bland is Visiting Professor of English Language and Literature Teaching at the University of Vechta, Germany. She holds a PhD from Jena University, and has been TEFL teacher educator at the Universities of Duisburg-Essen, Hildesheim and Paderborn. She is the author of Children's Literature and Learner Empowerment and co-editor of Children's Literature in Second Language Education. Janice is also co-editor of the peer-reviewed, open-access journal, Children's Literature in English Language Education.
