Preachers find themselves turning to John's gospel time and time again. Many commentaries are written on John but very few take into account the needs of the preacher and congregation combined. This book aims to provide the missing ingredient that will help congregations and preachers come together with the sermon as the point of contact.

Author Biography

DickLucas is chairman of The Proclamation Trust, which exists to train and encourage preachers in expository ministry. He is Rector Emeritus of St Helen's Church, Bishopsgate, where his four decades of ministry centred on thorough exposition of the Scriptures to congregations of business people, students, medics and people from all walks of life WilliamPhilip directs the general ministry of the Proclamation Trust, including working with ministers and theological students, and overseeing the conference programme. Prior to entering the ministry of the Church of Scotland, William worked as a doctor specialising in Cardiology
