Author Biography

Bronislaw J. Sammler is the chair of the Department of Technical Design and Production at the Yale School of Drama and Production Supervisor for the Yale Repertory Theatre. He teaches Production Planning, Technical Design and Structural Design for the Stage. In addition to editing Volumes I and II of The Technical Brief Collection, he co-authored Structural Design for the Stage, which was recognized by USITT with the Golden Pen Award in 2000. Don Harvey came to the Yale School of Drama's Technical Design and Production Department as a student in 1982 and has been on the faculty since he graduated in 1985. Now Technical Director for the Drama School and the Department's unofficial scribe. Harvey teaches Technical Writing and Computer Applications for Technical Managers.
