Author Biography

Natasha Evers is Lecturer in Marketing at the J.E. Cairnes of Business and Economics, National University of Ireland, Galway. Her research interests include international entrepreneurship, international marketing strategies of SMEs and the commercialization of innovation in new firms. She has published in journals such as International Marketing Review, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, Journal of International Entrepreneurship, the International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, the Journal of Innovative Marketing and Irish Journal of Management.


 
James Cunningham is the Director of Centre for Innovation and Structural Change and is a senior lecturer in Strategic Management at the J.E. Cairnes School of Business and Economics at National University of Ireland Galway. His main research interests focus on commercialization, technology transfer, academic entrepreneurships and strategy as practice. James has published five books, l journal articles, cases studies, commissioned reports and he is editor of the Irish Journal of Management. His research on technology transfer has been cited in the Government's major strategy document entitled, Strategy for Science Innovation and Technology published in 2006. His co-authored book entitled the Strategic Management of Technology Transfer: A New Challenge on Campus was described in a Business and Finance review as: 'This book should be part of the policy library our entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and top manager in ICT and R and D oriented sectors.' His next book on Strategy and Strategists will be published by Oxford University Press in January 2012.


 
Thomas Hoholm is Postdoctoral researcher at the BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo, Norway. He is teaching entrepreneurship and innovation management, particularly focusing on entrepreneurial creativity, entrepreneurial growth, and the management of innovation processes in firms and industrial networks. He has been a visiting researcher at Lancaster University Management School, and will be a visiting researcher at UC Berkeley from August 2011 until June 2012. He has published (incl.articles accepted for publication) in journals such as Management Learning, European Journal of Innovation Management, Industrial Marketing Management, and Science Studies, and a revised version of his PhD thesis is forthcoming as a research monograph on Palgrave Macmillan in August 2011.
