Author Biography

Wendy Bird teaches Spanish art at Birkbeck College, among other institutions. Since she first saw Goya's prints at art college, the artist has been a constant focus of her study. She is a practicing painter and printmaker. She has also been a puppet showman, actress, and singer in a travelling theatre.

Sarah Maycock is an illustrator who has produced work for BBC Wildlife magazine, Random House, Conrad Design, and the Financial Times among others.
