SCOTT, PhD, is Professor of Pathology and Immunology in the Division of Laboratory Medicine, Department of Pathology and Immunology at Washington University and Co-Medical Director of Clinical Chemistry at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. He served as president of the American Association for Clinical Chemistry in 2005.

ANN M. GRONOWSKI, PhD, is Associate Professor of Pathology & Immunology and Obstetrics & Gynecology, Division of Laboratory Medicine, Washington University and Associate Medical Director, Clinical Chemistry and Serology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
