Summary

A gullible public is being brainwashed with information without revelation. Such dissemination of "knowledge" very often transmits more error than truth. This is a frightening state of affairs and certainly is representative of the day when men and women will refuse to "love the truth" and will "believe the lie" (2 Thessalonians 2:10, II, NIV). Needless to say, it is Satan himself who is behind all this godless propaganda, and he has successfully infiltrated society with his agenda. As a result, truth is now an uncommon virtue. When a majority of society seems comfortable with leaders who struggle with honesty, it is a glaring indicator of the lack of honesty in society as a whole. Against this backdrop of dark deceit, Stephen Olford says, "Enough is enough! This is a time for truth!" A study on Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, A Time for Truth explicates the beautiful poetry of Solomon in Ecclesiastes in a way that differentiates the perversion of the world from the truth found in Scripture. As the principles of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 are built around the motif of time, so too are the chapters of this book. Readers of A Time for Truth will not only be encouraged to seek biblical truths, but they will also be challenged to obey those truths. Book jacket.
