Summary

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

Is love enough to save a life from disaster?
A beautiful, raw, moving novel.

Lolo hasn't seen her sister since she left the detox clinic, when her parents couldn't handle it anymore, and she didn't seem willing to do anything to get out of the hole she was in. Her search leads her to the Barajas airport in Madrid, where she finds her sister about to leave for the shantytown in order to get drugs.

Lolo decides to go with her and, one night, she will wander around the town holding her hand, discovering her misery and degradation, but also the power struggles behind the drug trade and the lives broken by addiction.

Everything Burns is a novel about second chances, a portrait of the drama that surrounds the addict's world, but also that of their families and, the one who finds in them the only way of life.
