Summary

Tom Clancy and Steve Pieczenik are About to Declare War on the Competition. . . . THE OBJECTIVE: A fourth consecutive New York Times bestseller for Tom Clancy's Op-Center THE HARDWARE: A blockbuster thriller armed with cutting-edge technology (a.k.a. everything a Clancy fan wants) THE PREDICTION: A SLAM-DUNK In Tom Clancy's all-new, original novel, OP- CENTER: Acts of War, Syrian terrorists have attacked a dam inside the borders of Turkey, threatening the water supply of their very homeland. It is not insanity, but the first step in a deceptively simple plan: to force all-out war in the Middle East. What they don't know is that a new Regional Op-Center is now on-line in Greece, and its team can see exactly what the rebels are trying to do. But these terrorists are more resourceful than anyone thinks.

Author Biography

Tom Clancy has lectured at the Central Intelligence Agency, conferred with the White House staff, and has been consulted by international intelligence experts. Yet Mr. Clancy is neither a former intelligence officer nor a naval man. His extensive research into military strategies and advanced technology has sparked a new breed of thriller fiction-authentic, dramatic, and powerful. His phenomenal bestsellers, including The Hunt for Red October and The Bear and the Dragon, have sold worldwide, with more than forty-five million copies in print. Steve Pieczenik is a Harvard-trained psychiatrist with an M.D. from Cornell University Medical College. He has a Ph.D. in International Relations from M.I.T. and served as principal hostage negotiator and international crisis manager while Deputy Assistant Secretary of State under Henry Kissinger, Cyrus Vance, and James Baker. He is also the bestselling novelist of the psycho-political thrillers The Mind Palace, Blood Heat, Maximum Vigilance, and Pax Pacifica.
