Author Biography

Pam Munoz Ryan<br>Pam is the author of more than thirty books for young readers, including the ALA Notable picture books MICE AND BEANS, illustrated by Joe Cepeda, and WHEN MARIAN SANG and AMELIA AND ELEANOR GO FOR A RIDE, both illustrated by Brian Selznick. Her spring 2010 novel, THE DREAMER, illustrated by Caldecott Honoree Peter Sís, has been hailed by Booklist as “a classic.” She lives in Southern California with her family.<br><br><br>Edwin Fotheringham<br>Edwin is the illustrator of two books by Barbara Kerley, WHAT TO DO ABOUT ALICE?, a Sibert Honor and Boston Globe–Horn Book Honor Award winner, and THE EXTRAORDINARY MARK TWAIN (ACCORDING TO SUSY), as well as Shana Corey’s MERMAID QUEEN, a Parents' Choice Award winner.
