Cynthia Way currently works as the Chief Learning Officer for NOAA's Oceanic and Atmosphereic Research Line Office. She previously served as the Lead Curriculum Designer at the Department of Defense. Prior to working in the Government, Cynthia served in the U.S. Navy and then worked in the animal health industry in a myraid of capacites ranging from veterinary technician to Organizational Development Consultant. Cynthia has also served in multiple capacities for various professional development Boards of Directors including Vice-President of Education for ATD Nebraska Board and Nebraska Alliance for Conservation and Environmental Education. Cynthia is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), has a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership, and is working on her Doctoral dissertation at The George Washington University for a degree in Human and Organizational Learning with a focus on eco-consciousness through aesthetics. She has both published and spoke at numerous academic and practitioner conferences to include European Society for the Education of Adults, ASTD International Conferences and Expo, and American Association for Adult and Continuing Education.

Beverly Kaye is an internationally recognized authority on career issues, and retention and engagement in the workplace. She was named a “Legend” by ASTD, a designation given to “pioneers and prophets in the field of workplace learning and performance.” The criteria that Legends must meet are: enduring impact and influence; originality of ideas; a career of sustained currency; work done more than five years ago is currently discussed, applied, and adapted; a substantive body of published work; and a contribution that raises the visibility, credibility and stature of the field. She has also been named by Leadership Excellence as one of North America's 100 top thought leaders.

As founder and CEO of Career Systems International, and a bestselling author on workplace performance, Kaye has worked with a host of organizations to establish cutting-edge, award-winning talent development solutions. Her first book, Up Is Not the Only Way (Davies Black) became a classic, and although it was published in the early 1980s it is still relevant today. In it she foresaw the effects that leaner, flatter organizations would have on individual careers and the subsequent need for workers to take charge of their own careers. Kaye also developed systems for managers and employees to work together to help employees achieve their developmental goals.
