The Asia Pacific region is a dynamic but complex area where much of the history of the 21st Century will be scripted. Author Biography

Maj Gen Y K Gera (Retd) is a telecommunication Engineer. He has authored a book titled Non-Conventional Threat Perceptions in the Indian Context. He has edited the books Peace and Stability in Afghanistan: The Way Ahead and Peace and Stability in Asia Pacific Region: Assessment of the Security Architecture. He is Consultant (Research) with Centre for Strategic Studies and Simulation (CS3), United Service Institution of India.
