Venki Sundaram, Specialty Registrar in Ophthalmology, London Deanery, UK,Allon Barsam, Specialist Registrar, Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, UK,Amar Alwitry, Consultant Ophthalmologist / Glaucoma Specialist at Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Derby, UK,Peng Khaw, Professor of Glaucoma and Ocular Healing, and Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, Institute of Ophthalmology, University College London, London, UK

Venki Sundaram is currently a Specialty Registrar (Year 3) working at King's College Hospital, London. He undertook his pre-clinical medical studies at Guy's, King's and St. Thomas' Medical School before completing clinical studies at Oxford University Medical School. Following his House Officer year, he was a Research Fellow at the Nuffield Department of ophthalmology in Oxford, working on several projects leading to publication and international presentations, and was a journal reviewer for a national publication. He completed his Senior House Officer training in ophthalmology on the South West Thames rotation, before being appointed to his current Registrar position.

Mr Amar Alwitry is currently a Consultant Ophthalmologist with a special interest in glaucoma working at the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary. He initially undertook general surgical training and only moved into ophthalmology after obtaining his MRCS. He trained in ophthalmology in the East Midlands and completed his specialist glaucoma training at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham. He has authored two other ophthalmology texts and has published more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals. He has a particular interest in training and furthering ophthalmology education.

Allon Barsam is currently a Specialist Registrar at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. He undertook his pre-clinical medical studies at Cambridge University Medical School before completing his clinical studies at University College London Medical School, where he graduated with a distinction in surgery. He completed his Senior House Officer training in Ophthalmology at St Thomas' Hospital. He was a Corneal Research Fellow at the Rayne Institute, St Thomas' and has been a principal investigator on several clinical studies. He has given numerous national and international presentations and has several publications in peer-reviewed journals.
