Her magnificent work incorporates hand-painted fabric, natural materials, and elements ranging from wood to glass; and she has also written a number of acclaimed books on such subjects as soft furnishings, flower arranging, and painting. In 1970, she established the Designer's Guild, which wholesales furnishings, fabrics, wallcoverings, upholstery, and bed linen throughout the world.
