Author Biography

DR. ERWIN W. LUTZER (B.Th., Winnipeg Bible College; Th.M., Dallas Theological Seminary; M.A., Loyola University) has been Senior Pastor of Chicago’s Moody Church since 1980. Prior to taking that position he served as the Pastor of Edgewater Baptist Church in Chicago and later became an assistant professor of Bible and Theology at the Moody Bible Institute.

Dr. Lutzer is the author of numerous award-winning books including Oprah, Miracles, and the New Earth: A Critique, One Minute After You Die, Is God on America’s Side?, Seven Reasons Why You Can Trust The Bible, The DaVinci Deception, When You’ve Been Wronged, Christ Among Other gods and The Serpent of Paradise.

Dr. Lutzer is the featured speaker on three radio programs: The Moody Church Hour, the popular evening program Songs in the Night, and the daily broadcast, Running to Win.
