Author Biography

Pete Seeger has been a major influence in folk music for more than fifty years, having written such songs as "If I Had a Hammer" (with Lee Hays) and "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" Pete is also a storyteller; his children's book Abiyoyo is considered a classic. Abiyoyo Returns, which he wrote with Paul DuBois Jacobs, continues the beloved story. Pete lives with his wife, Toshi, near Beacon, New York.
