Author Biography

Penn Mullin has worked in the field of educational writing for years and has taught creative writing to children in her local schools. The idea for this book came about when her granddaughter, Avery, asked, "Is two a big number?" That got Penn thinking about how the same number can be both big and small, prompting her to come up with a way to explain this concept to young people. Penn has three
children and lives just north of San Francisco in Marin County, California. Margot Leigh is an artist with a background in interior design and graphics art in architecture. She is skilled in portrait, still life, and plein air fine art oil painting. Margot is the mother of two daughters and lives with her husband Richard in Prescott, Arizona. This is her first published work as an illustrator.
