Summary

Louis is not interested in history. "Who cares what a bunch of dead people did years ago?" he asks himself. But after a class project at school puts him closer to his family roots, he submerges himself into the life of his Polish grandfather who had to immigrate to Brazil during the Second World War. In this novella, through some old photos, the memories of his mother and a vacation to Poland, Louis discovers how much their childhood is distinct and how much it is similar. The Spanish version, called Dos continentes, cuatro generaciones has been published by Colombia's Panamericana Editorial.

Author Biography

Beti Rozen is an award winning Brazilian author from Rio, who has published books in Brazil, the United States and Colombia, including Two Continents, Four Generations, Gotta Find Froggy, Without Words, A Heart Alone in the Land of Darkness, and Stolen Spirit. She lives in New Jersey.Peter Hays is a produced American playwright who has written several plays for adults. He has co-written Two Continents, Four Generations, Gotta Find Froggy, Without Words, and Stolen Spirit with Beti Rozen. He lives in New Jersey.Carlos Manuel Diaz Consuegra is an illustrator from Colombia who has published several titles with Panamericana Editorial. He is a graduate from Universidad de Bogotß Jorge Tadeo Loranzo. Two Continents, Four Generations is his U.S. debut.
