Summary

What wonderful imaginations children have!

Their first instincts are to touch and taste everything around them! In this book, Arty and Tato, are vegetables beginning to have fun in life by exploring the gardens they are growing up in and finding ways to tell their story. Each friend then has a chance to share their dreams.

Arty, the Artichoke, was always looking at his friends, and hoping to be like them. His story shows how he meets and grows up with other vegetables, while learning how wonderful he is becoming.

Then the EXCITEMENT BEGINS AS THEY BECOME THE VEGSQUAD.

Arty thought if he looked the same as they did, everyone would love him. As his story ends, he finds out the real truth!!
