Summary

Uganda is where the east African savannah meets the west African jungle. It boasts a thrilling array of wildlife, from gorillas and chimps to lions and elephants, and its 1,000-plus bird species make it Africa's most rewarding ornithological destination. Climb to the snows of the fabled Mountains of the Moon, raft the headwaters of the mighty Nile, track chimps in Kibale Forest, or marvel at the legendary tree-climbing lions of Ishasha. Uganda has something for everyone - and this fifth edition is the most comprehensive travel resource available. Book jacket.
