Author Biography

The other day, at a certain high-end hotel in the city, we held the Yudetamago Manga Artist 20th Anniversary Party! The ballroom was crowded with 250 guests. We had lots of events, like a live band and a trivia contest. However, the most popular feature was the food stands: "Mantaro Sushi," "Suguru Beef Bowl," "Sunshine Skewered Cutlet" ... etc. All of them were delicious and sold out in 30 minutes. -Yudetamago Yudetamago is the pen name of artists Yoshinori Nakai and Takashi Shimada, who created the original hit Kinnikuman (Muscle Man). Kinnikuman, which debuted in 1979, quickly grew into a massive slapstick wrestling epic and one of the most popular features in Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Ultimate Muscle (known in Japan as Kinnikuman II Sei) is Yudetamago's most recent creation.
