Author Biography

Ida Vitale (Montevideo, 1923) is an Uruguayan writer, poet, translator, essayist and literary critic, who belonged to the Generation of '45, along with other Uruguayan writers such as Juan Carlos Onetti, Carlos Maggi and Idea Vilariñ o.
