Author Biography

Dr. Mark Pimentel in Thunder Bay Ontario Canada. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. He did his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Manitoba as well. In 1996, he moved to Los Angeles, where he completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology, via the UCLA-affiliated training program at Cedars-Sinai Sattelite. He is now Assistant Professor of Medicine at the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine and is the Director of the Gastrointestinal Motility Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Pimentel and his family live in Los Angeles.
