Ha dirigido varioscapítulos de Águila Roja y El Internado. En 2021 publicó suprimera novela con Suma: Incertidumbre. Una vez fuimos famosos es su segunda novela.

Vito, Amanda, and Ponce are ten years old. One afternoon, bored, they kill a two-year-old baby. After several years in juvenile detention centers, they get released with the promise of reintegration back into society. They must look for work, lead stable lives, and promise not to contact each other ever again. But can they keep that promise?
 
Miguel Alcantud sets the basis of this story from a real-life case, that of the murderous children of Liverpool, to write an impactful novel that reflects on the nature of evil. Once, We Were Famous is an incisive and direct thriller that hits and knocks out the reader's conscience.
 
Born in Cartagena in 1971, Miguel Alcantud has directed four films. He is a Microtheater artistic director. In 2013 he was a finalist for the Valle-Inclán Theater Award. He has directed several chapters of “Águila Roja” and “El Internado”. In 2021 he published his first novel: Uncertainty. Once, We Were Famous is his second novel.

Author Biography

Miguel Alcantud (Cartagena, 1971). Director de series como El Ministerio del Tiempo, El Cid, Águila Roja, Estoy vivo, El Internado o Brigada Costa del Sol.

Es creador y director artístico de Microteatro, con sedes en varios países. Ha dirigido Impulsos, Anastezsi, Y viceversa y Diamantes Negros (premio del público del festival de Málaga 2013). Como guionista ha escrito de The Virgin of Highland Park. Ha escrito y dirigido más de veinte producciones teatrales. Ha sido finalista del prestigioso premio Valle Inclán de teatro 2013.
