Twins, it doesn't get closer than that!

Bill is an Italian cowboy with just a pinch of mobster is uninhibited, charming, hedonistic, pssionate, gruff, grizzly, silly, opinionated, and explosive. He is a bible-thumping religious right-wing Republican whose smile could light up a room. In his prime he emptied bars, swung from chandeliers, unlocked chastity belts, converted virgins and organized orgies... he was Wild Bill until he found Jesus and became Sweet William.

D is a multidisciplinary artist, painter, writer and photographer. A creative juggernaut with unstoppable creativity, a born survivor, a woman warrior, a powerhouse. She is passionate, determined, talented, resilient and intellectual. Philosophical, kind, gentle and understanding, she is a liberal Democrat living in Hollywood.

The author asks,
Are we not all flawed?
Are we all not on the same journey?
Is understanding not the bridge?
Are we not here to love one another unconditionally?

Author Biography

Dellamarie Parrilli is a multidisciplinary artist, who lives and works in Los Angeles; an enigmatic persona on the scene, who continues to innovate, transcend and intrigue. Her work is wide ranging, ever changing and restlessly experimental, with a distinguished career that spans over five decades encompassing a broad spectrum in the visual and creative arts – painting, sculpting, photography, screenwriting and design. She is a highly accomplished abstractionist, "a born master of her medium", recognized as one of the most talented contemporary abstract painters painting today. "Parrilli doesn't fit easily into known categories... outrageously gifted, exceptionally talented with unstoppable creativity" (Ann Landi - contributing editor of ArtNews). Prodigious in her creativity... Her work has the ambiguity of Joan Mitchell, the headiness of Helen Frankenthaler, and the tenacity of Lee Krasner.

Dellamarie Parrilli's artistic journey is a testament to resilience and adaptability. Born three months premature in Chicago, her life was marked by early tragedies that shaped her creative outlook. During her youth, Parrilli's father was killed by a drunk driver, and three months later, her family, surviving a devastating house fire, were left homeless. Parrilli, only 11 years old at the time, embraced her creativity; she had found her voice.

Despite these adversities, Parrilli found solace and expression through music, writing, and art. Her early passion for the arts led her to pursue a BA in music from DePaul University, where she also honed her skills in tap, jazz, ballet, and improv. Her versatile talent earned her acclaim in Las Vegas and Chicago, but a diagnosis of Lyme disease and Sjogren's Syndrome abruptly ended her burgeoning career on the brink of Broadway success.

Parrilli's innovative works have been showcased in prestigious venues, including the Walter Wickiser Gallery in New York, the Hunter Museum, the Ezair Gallery, the Cork Gallery, and Marymount College. Her unique style has earned her numerous awards and her art is held in private and corporate collections worldwide.

In 2023, Parrilli's groundbreaking 3D works were exhibited at the Hardin Cultural Center, captivating audiences with their immersive spatial experience. Her use of industrial materials and avant-garde techniques creates a three-dimensional effect that transports viewers into a world of translucence and depth.

This book is a significant addition to Parrilli's multifaceted artistic legacy, reflecting her enduring commitment to exploring the depths of human experience through art.
