Summary

I wrote this and illustrated it as a memorial for my mother, who originally told it to me. I remember, as a child, she would tell me this story as a reminder that anything could be done if you set your mind to it. When I grew older I asked her to write it down so I could always use it to remind myself that great things can be accomplished with a little thought. Amazing things can happen when viewed through the eyes of a child. Imagine the things that could happen if we all had that innocence throughout our total life-span. This story is the very essence of childlike imagination. Who is to say it can not be true. Thank you, Mom, for all the inspiration.
