Author Biography

Marcia K. Henry, Ph.D., has 50 years of experience in the field of reading and dyslexia, working as a teacher, diagnostician, tutor, and professor. A past president of The international Dyslexia Association and former director of the Center for Educational Research on Dyslexia at San Jos state University, Dr. Henry speaks frequently at conferences, is on the editorial boards of several professional journals, and provides teacher training on literacy instruction. Dr. Henry received the Margaret Byrd Rawson Lifetime Achievement Award from The IDA in 2000.
