\Jason Weems is an Assistant Professor in the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences History of Art Department at the University of California Riverside. He specializes in American art, with particular interests in the history of vision and visuality, landscape, and vernacular culture in the context of modernity--making him the perfect person to write the Introduction to Unseen Ansel Adams.
