Author Biography

Jessica Taylor was born in Listowel, Co, Kerry, Ireland. She owned and operated a Merle Norman Cosmetic business in Toronto until her tragic accident in 1969, which resulted in a severe brain injury that took years for her to overcome However, against all odds, she did and now presents seminars and is the president of the Jessica Taylor Foundation. She is affiliated with many head injury support groups around the world. Her first book, The Journey Back was released in 1994 in Ireland, and as it appealed to all markets, according to journalists, ' The book had astonishing sales for an unknown writer.' The Vegetable Patch, From Tragedy to Triumph: The Journey Back is the continuation of this story and her first release in the United States. Jessica has been interviewed on Kenny Live, Gerry Kelly, and Nationwide TV shows, as well as numerous radio shows in Ireland. Many newspaper and magazine articles have been written about her. Her current work includes campaigning for the head and brain-injured. She is presently working on her dissertation on ôTheology and Its Connection with the Paranormalö and is working toward earning her doctoral degree in Theology . Recently, she returned to Canada where she was reunited with her daughters and many friends . She is also awaiting the movie release of The Vegetable Patch..
