Summary

Examines the way in which Venice's unusual topography has influenced the formnd type of the city's buildings. Author Biography

Richard Goy is a practising architect and architectural historian. He is author of the books Chioggia and the Villages of the Venetian Lagoon, Venetian Vernacular Architecture and The House of Gold as well as Florence: The City and its Architecture, also published by Phaidon.
