Excerpts

Bronze returned to Liana's room and found it empty. After having his subjects search the entire mansion, he came up with nothing but then found out that Melanie was missing, too, and he could find no trace of either one of them. Anger boiled within his blood after he came To The conclusion that he had been betrayed. Enraged, he pictured Melanie's head on a platter and her body fed to wild dogs. "Liana!" Bronze screamed as he clutched his dark hair between his fingers and pulled wildly, all the while banging his head into the plaster wall. Bronze's servant stood in the doorway waiting for his master's wrath to end, not desiring to be his punching bag in the state of mind he was in. Finally, after a few minutes, Bronze spotted his servant from the corners of his eyes; his servant then knew he had no choice but to speak. "We still find no signs of Miss Melanie or Miss Liana. What do you wish for us to do now?" "Keep a look out! Keep searching! Do not stop unless I give the command! Tell the others: if anyone sees them, contact me immediately, at once! Now go and do what I have asked of you!" as soon as his servant departed, Bronze slammed the door shut, walked over to Liana's bed, and wept upon it. After the weeping subsided, he again turned to anger, realizing that she had slipped out of his hands. "Liana!" he screamed once more. Bronze returned To The open gates to speak with his comrade through the open doors of their minds, but only when he stepped into the gate of time could he do this. He tried to contact Snakeman, but something again stopped him from getting through to him. He successfully got hold of Wolf Fang. "Yes, master," Wolf Fang answered immediately. "Liana and Melanie have entered through the portal. Listen closely. No harm is to come to Liana, or it will be your life for hers. And make sure nothing happens to her necklace. I hope you Understand The message I am sending to you. Wolf Fang, do not fail me as you did with the children, not returning them to me! Enough is enough! Now, am I understood?" "Yes, master. I understand, and this time we shall not fail you. I give you my word!" Wolf Fang replied. Bronze wanted Wolf Fang to be obedient to every word that he had demanded or his life would be at stake, along with the pack of wolverines who were under his leadership, placing them in jeopardy of a painful, drawn-out death that would leave them screaming for their endless torture to end, desiring to be at death's door quickly. Bronze began to speak in a rough tone, a deep, harsh voice that Wolf Fang was all too familiar with and that raised the fur on the back of his hunchback spine. Bronze spoke ruthless words. "Draw away from finding the children and keep your eyes fully focused in searching for Liana! as long as I have the mother, The kids will eventually seek her out and fall into my trap. She will be the bait that draws the brats into my hands and into my torture chamber," he laughed wickedly. "Yes, forget the Quest, being that they're so small and nothing compared to my large army of strength and power. The Quest is just a little nuisance of dirt underneath my fingernail! Now, depart from me and do what I have commanded, and do not fail me again!" Bronze left the time warp and was no longer speaking harshly into Wolf Fang's mind. He returned to his room of old relics to check on his beasts of war inside the dark portal of his historic museum, preparing For The upcoming war to battle against King James and take over his kingdom. He desired eventually to take over the Second and Third Kingdoms quickly, with the help of the three keys, before the two kingdoms might decide to ally themselves with King James, becoming a threat To The scores of wicked beasts and evil men who had joined his fierce mass of armed forces. Throughout the many centuries of feeling trapped inside this strange dimension, Bronze had captured many slaves by means of sending out his monstrous beasts on many occasions to do his dirty work while he waited impatiently, speaking to them through the open gate of the time warp, giving them orders about what to do and how to do it. He would not be satisfied until the work was complete. He had been taking righteous men who had been captured throughout the years and placing them into slavery, forcing them to make weapons for his defense. In the near future he would have these men rise against their good and noble king, not giving them a choice or he would slay their wives and children, placing their heads on a large block of wood and chopping off their heads with violent, heavy blades of a huge guillotine. But even with his vast army, numbered as the sand, Bronze still needed the keys to become completely victorious; with the power of the necklaces in his possession, he could go into any dimension, portal, or time warp and rule over all men and beasts. He proclaimed a thunderous declaration: "I shall rule over the kingdoms of old And The kingdoms of now and kingdoms to come!" He was so overwhelmed by greed And The pride of thinking only of himself that he was enjoying every second of it, but he only continued to thirst for more. He thought to himself, Who can conquer someone as great as me?
