A "Vita Christi" de Ludolfo de Saxónia (ca. 1295-1377) foi impressa em Lisboa em 1495 por Valentino de Morávia e Nicolau de Saxónia em três volumes, por ordem da rainha Dona Leonor. A tradução para o Português deveu-se muito provavelmente ao rei D. Duarte, que a supervisionou. A obra, como é dito no prólogo, «contém todolos mistérios da fé católica, segundo a escritura dos quatro evangelistas e notários cristículos, com verdadeiras e devotíssimas exposições de diversos doctores egrégios, devotos e mui gloriosos.». A edição que agora se publica é a transcrição da edição de 1495, cotejada com a edição de Augusto Magne. "A Vita Christi" foi considerado o primeiro livro impresso em Língua Portuguesa até à descoberta do "Sacramental" (1488) e do "Tratado de Confissom" (1489).
