Summary

#xE2;#xAC;SWalking In the Light#xE2;#xAC; is the first book of a collection called #xE2;#xAC;SSpirit Talk,#xE2;#xAC; which came out of a little girl's personal walk with God. There once was a little girl who attended church only because her parents dropped her and her siblings off for Sunday school and worship every week. Now, this was a good thing, because at least she did have a chance to hear about the love of God. But it was not the best thing, because her experience influenced how she thought about God. What happened is this little girl grew up thinking that church was only for children. And she reasoned that just as soon as she was grown, well, she wouldn#xE2;#xAC;"t have to go to church any more. And that#xE2;#xAC;"s exactly what happened, once she was grown, she did as her parents had done, dropping her own three children off for Sunday school and church, and seldom attending herself. It was her understanding that she was an adult and adults didn't need anyone's help, not even God's. She could and would take care of herself. She had been taught that if she just worked hard enough, she would be able to get all the things she needed, all the things that would bring happiness and contentment into her life. It might take a while, she thought, but she could do it. And so she worked very hard at acquiring all the things she needed and all the things she wanted, and by the age of forty she had most all of them. But guess what, she wasn't happy; she wasn't content. At her dismay, she sensed that there was something missing. It was then that her heart was miraculously changed by God. To make a long story short: #xE2;#xAC;SSpirit Talk#xE2;#xAC; is a collection of messages; it is a sharing of the fruit of her personal walk with God, in hopes that the reader might be blessed, as she has been blessed.
