Here we are in 2011, The first of the baby boomer generation, all turning sixty-five years old. We have seen so much in the decade of the 60's and WE influenced the thinking of the entire world in regard to social, racial, political and sexual issues. WE had strength in numbers and beliefs in our ideasI experienced my "coming of age " years living in the South, the land of beach music, The Shag, serious high school football, Nascar, moonshine, and world changing racial demonstrationsBeing born in a small town in North Carolina was an advantage in so many ways. Everybody knew everbody And The feeling of family was so appartent. Anytime you did something which would ordinarily result in police action, your parents were called instead. Of course, my parents were called on a regular basis. I always wanted adventure and excitement and was determined to live my life compared To The lyrics of my favorite song by the Tams, "Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy."Audrey, I think this part needs some help.************
