Author Biography

David Yount is a religion columnist for the Scripps Howard News Service. His "Amazing Grace" column appears weekly in newspapers nationwide. A former university dean, foundation president, seminary chairman, and award-winning newspaper editor, Yount lectures widely and hosts a cable television program. He is vice chairman of the Washington Theological Consortium, an ecumenical group of twelve Catholic and Protestant schools of theology devoted to equipping ordained and lay church leaders to minister beyond denominational borders
