Author Biography

H. KENT AGUILLARD resides in rural Evangeline Parish, Louisiana, with his office in a small town nearby. Kent is blessed to have oversight of a very robust law practice. With 43 years of experience practicing law, including serving as a law clerk for a court of appeal, Kent Aguillard has built a diverse clientele across various parts of the country. He graduated from LSU Law School in 1979 and specializes in bankruptcy law, while also providing essential legal services to his local rural community.

Outside of his legal practice, Kent enjoys a rich family life with his wife Denise, whom he has been married to for 49 years. They have four children and ten grandchildren. He is an active member of Gideons International and participates extensively in the organization's activities. Kent is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying activities like hunting and fishing, and he strongly believes in preserving nature for future generations. He also finds fulfillment in mentoring young lawyers and lives by the guiding principle that "There is no right way to do the wrong thing."
