Who's Who in Political Revolutions profiles well-known as well as obscure figures. It looks at successful revolutionaries as well as those who seemingly died in vain. It includes profiles of revolutionaries who were heroically selfless (Mahatma Gandhi, for example), ruthlessly brutal (Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler), and of mixed legacy. Still others, including John Locke, were thinkers who inspired others to action.
