Summary

In this inspired and accessible guide, author Mark Magill shows you how to root out sources of distraction and tune in to only that which is truly meaningful. Leading you through a series of practical exercises, guided meditations, ancient parables, and everyday scenarios, he challenges you to face down the daily meanderings of your mind -- not by ignoring the distractions, but by observing them from a place of stillness, the Buddhist place of peace. By following his plan to achieve mindfulness, you will increase your "center of gravity" and discover a life that is wholly more fulfilling. And in the process, you will come to understand why the Buddha is smiling. Book jacket.
