Author Biography

Micah L. Sifry-together with Andrew Rasiej, a co-founder of the Personal Democracy Forum (where Julian Assange has spoken twice) and editor of its award-winning techPresident.com blog-is a senior technology adviser to the Sunlight Foundation. A former editor and writer at The Nation magazine, he is the author of one book (Spoiling for a Fight: Third-Party Politics in America, 2002), and co-author of another (Is that a Politician in Your Pockert?, 2004). Andrew Rasiej, chair of the New York Tech Meetup, was 2004 chair of the Howard Dean Technology Advisory Committee.
