Summary

Wildlife & Woodlot Management is a comprehensive guide for hunters and landowners who want to develop, manage, and maintain their land for maximum enjoyment. Readers learn how to choose the type of land that will match the game they want to attract, whether it is waterfowl, upland, small game, or big game. Addressing one of the hottest topics today, author Monte Burch delves into planning food plots, preparing the soil, and what tools and equipment will work best. Monte offers advice on how to manage woodlots, reintroduce a forest, fell and girdle trees, establish grasslands, and manage water. Based on his own land management practices, Burch teaches a variety of techniques, with easy-to-follow instructions and solid advice.
